Laying on my bed with the sun setting in the distance I could be a million miles from here with the help of Wildarms' latest effort. As U Don't Understand's icy textures give way to a winter of yearning as childhood memories flash before my eyes it doesn't take long to become embodied within its transforming nature. This is my first encounter with Wildarms but from this, most definitely won't be my last. Forming a compelling paracosm bursting with fantasy, where anything's possible, its slow burning rhythms and synth melodies go on to create a dream-like haze as shimmering vocals intertwine throughout. Escapism at its best!
