While being able to translate their name without the need for Google's assistance would be a triumph for most, having lived in Wales my whole life, it's rather quite shameful that Sunday School is the extent of my Welsh language knowledge, bar a few choice phrases. Nevertheless, West-Wales three-piece are set to release an EP of English-spoken songs for folk like me and have revealed the first taste of what's to come with their new single Elsewhere. With an already cult-like following in the Welsh language scene, Ysgol Sul's crossover looks set to be seamless as they transpose a mutual love of the 90s underground with grungy basslines and despondent vocalism.
