Kicking off the New Year with a band that got lost in my inbox the good part of two months ago. Discovered whilst catching up on my unread emails.

A powerful force combining a subtle charm that pierces your heart, Parakeets are far from the norm. An emotional band with a diverse nature and ever changing tempo range adding the much needed short bursts of swooning energy that much of today's music lacks. Potent heartfelt vocals add a broody haze over the edgy cut tight guitars. Plenty of cowbell. Everything interlocking in their own harmonised way.
