Following on from last months single MISS HER, These New South Whales have returned today with their charged-up new effort BIG MACHINE. Taken from their forthcoming LP, GODSPEED, out Nov 28th, the track's thundering basslines and soaring vocals see them confidently step into the arena space as their anthemic drive continues to push onwards. “Sometimes you gotta go big,” says vocalist Jamie Timony. “This is one of those times.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
In celebration of the album release next month, These New South Whales have partnered with Fender to give away one Gretsch® Streamliner™ Jet™ 1 Pickup with Laurel Fingerboard in Vintage White, signed by each member. To enter the competition, pre-order your copy of GODSPEED at tnsw.co/preorder.
The band also prepare to mark 500 episodes of their cult podcast, What A Great Punk, with a string of live pods in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The tour celebrates the end of the podcast’s first season and takes place on the final weekend of November, coinciding with the release of the keenly anticipated LP, GODSPEED.
