Despite its short length, thistle.'s new offering packs in a generous helping of fuzzy, warm melodies. Signing with REX RECS, the new indie label founded by producer, writer and musician Macks Faulkron, of REX Studio, tied marks the band’s first material since the release of acclaimed debut EP ‘it’s nice to see you, stranger’ in July. Detailing their new track, the group revealed: “'tied' is a tribute to the emotional hardcore bands that we grew up on. The lyrics explore the relentless grind of 9-5 work. It flips between optimism and a feeling of defeat... something we're always looking for in our music”. Take a listen below.
