TYGERMYLK - Local Girl, Always Tired

Through dazzling synths and charged-up guitars, Hastings based artist TYGERMYLK has recently unveiled the final teaser from their upcoming debut album, Local Girl, Always Tired, sharing its title track ahead of its release. Detailing more, Tygermylk explained; ‘Just before the first lockdown, I had a breakdown. I was completely burnt out and had to leave London. I moved back in with my parents. Then the pandemic hit, and I found myself grappling with a covid-induced relapse of the chronic illness (ME/CFS & POTS) I’d been dealing with since my teenage years. I’d been badly bullied when I was younger and never had many friends, and suddenly in 2020 I was back in the same place that had been the source of so much trauma. The song is about that feeling: being stuck in a small town that doesn’t fundamentally align with who you are, dreaming of a bigger life, aching to escape.’ Take a listen below. The debut album is out this Friday, 14th November.
