I can't believe it's been almost a year since Wolf Alice released one of my favourite tracks of theirs, Bros. A whole bloody year. If I was to say a lot's happened in those 12 little months then it'd be a slight understatement; I'm talking 100s of shows, NME front covers and to to round it off nicely with a little sweet cherry on top, signing to one of my favourite record labels, Dirty Hit. Here the London four-piece return with their brand new single Moaning Lisa Smile, taken from their forthcoming 'Creature Songs' EP which is due out 26th May 2014, pretty much symbolising everything I love about them. Taking you on another roller coaster ride where the only ups are downs they continue to switch between soft and subtle to all out rocking in a split instant as grungy riffs and tunnelling basslines blare out.
