Premiered last night on BBC 6 Music, courtesy of Emily Pilbeam, Prima Queen have unveiled their brilliant new single Alanis Morissette. Working with revered producer Oli Deakin (CMAT), the pair have set out to deliver their most confident album yet, a claim backed up by this latest effort’s commanding vocals, soaring choruses and irresistibly catchy hooks. Speaking about their new release, Prima Queen added: “The song ‘Alanis Morissette’ came from a conversation with a friend who said, ‘It sounds like you’re not sad - you’re angry!’ Anger is a huge part of grieving heartbreak, but sometimes it’s hard to let yourself feel those feelings and allow yourself to express it. Following a teaser this week, Sam Fender has officially announced the Proper Massive Stadium Tour 2027 - including his biggest headline shows to date. The tour will call at six cities, which kicks off with two nights at Newcastle’s St. James’ Park, before hitting Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, two nights at Wembley, a show at Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium, and two nights at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester. The tour also stops at Dublin’s Marlay Park on 1st July, before Sam’s first European festival headline slot at next Summer’s Rock Werchter in Belgium on Saturday 3rd July.

Ticketing Information: 
To receive access to ticket pre-sale for all UK/Irish headline dates, fans can pre-order Sam’s fourth album now from the official Sam Fender store before 9:00am GMT on Monday 26th October. A unique presale code and link will be sent out via email by 8:00pm on Tuesday 27th October ahead of the ticket pre-sale opening at 9:30am on Wednesday 28th October at 9:30am. Continuing her pop-perfected return, Rachel Chinouriri has today unveiled her propulsive new single, Broken chair. Taken from her much-anticipated second album, I think I spoke too soon, due for release on Friday 16th October 2026 via Atlas Artists / Parlophone Records, the track opens with an arpeggiated synth line before revealing its pulsating dance-floor ready beat. The song was written in Los Angeles alongside friend and fellow musician Lucy Dacus, of which Rachel shares of their time working together: “I started having these realisations about drinking and partying and all these things and she almost reassured me that I am more than enough just being who I am and what I want to be.” Take a listen below.

Australian outfit The Buoys have recently shared their latest single Alone In Vegas, taken from the band's forthcoming Concrete Cowboy LP arriving October 23rd via Sony Music Australia / Music For Nations (Gossip, Maruja, VLURE). Speaking of the single, the band added: “‘Alone In Vegas’ is kind of like a sequel to Desert Hearts (1985) which ends without you knowing if the two lead characters, Cay and Vivian have a happily ever after. ‘Alone In Vegas’ imagines that Cay and Vivian run into each other in the future in Vegas before getting married and moving to New York together”. Eventually everything has its crux, as Flora from Kansas knows all too well on new single The End - a searing portrait of love at its most destructive. “I thought it would be cool to sing about a certain relationship dynamic that I'm sure some people can relate to,” Flora explains. Approaching the recording with the emotional intensity of a teen drama, Flora wanted the track to hit just as hard as her previous release. Opening an exciting new chapter, the track's fun melodies and infectious choruses offer a thrilling glimpse of what's to come. Explaining further, he says, “kiss of life is definitely the most fun I’ve ever had making a record. It’s everything overflowing all at once. On the surface it’s a song about falling in love, but really, it’s an ode to my friends and the people around me - it's about the joy and gratitude I feel whenever I’m with them. Two of them unexpectedly became parents recently and it really ended up shaping the heart of the song. In the end I just had to get them all to perform on the record - including the baby.
