Disco, Kate Bush and Kubrick. Not 3 names you'd normally expect to find in one sentence, but when they're the influences to such a euphoric debut who are we to question. From its unravelling intro, filled with the lonesome piano strikes accentuated by rich vocal talent, the track quickly builds in to one of this year's most engaging listens. Signed by London based label Good Years ( BANKS, Lil Silva, Francis) their atmospheric use of rising space and emotively hinged melodies leave us yearning and eager for more - a wondrous introduction to their lustrous sounds.
