Following up their debut single The Age of Innocence, London four-piece Tooth have today unveiled their blistering second effort, Medicine. Loaded with a quiet undercurrent of angst, brushed with soft, melodic passages, the track perfectly showcases the band’s knack for shifting tone and dynamics, gliding effortlessly between restraint and release. "We wanted to take the chaos of Sonic Youth but dilute it with a bit more structure and melody, and make it catchier," explains vocalist and guitarist Tom Pollock. "Lyrically, it revealed itself as a love song about an incessant lust for someone. This 'someone' was pretty vague in my mind, but it has a rawness of emotion I was fond of."
