Following on from last month's single Medicine, London four-piece Tooth have today returned with news of their debut EP 'Restless In Bloom', due out June 12th via Soil To The Sun Recordings. Sharing the extended player’s title track, the band's towering energy continues, with infectious melodies underpinning their powerful, anthemic sound. “The name ‘Restless in Bloom’ came from a poetry zine put together by Ben’s girlfriend,” explains Pollock. “She explained the meaning behind the name, saying how our youth was growing into something else, blossoming into something beyond what we knew. We would fill our time fidgeting with the freedom around us, restless in apprehension of whatever’s coming once youth fades. The lyrics reflect this idea, using the backdrop of two people sleeping together, both quickly growing out of each other and realising their existence has more potential beyond the confines of adolescence.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
