Brash guitars and crashing percussion is all very well, but unless there's an underlining melody and rhythm it quickly becomes a jarring noise. It's a good job then Newcastle's FEVA have mastered their sound with only their second single in by doing just so as they return with Makin' Waves, a huge monstrous effort that clings to the rafters. "Makin’Waves is somewhat of an ode to the free spirit, making your own decisions and making your own waves in life regardless of what is considered the norm" explain the band. "It’s an uplifting feel good track and what better time to release with summer not (too) far away". Listen for yourselves below.
