Now I was quite surprised at this band coming from my home town. There are very few bands that come from Wales let alone Swansea that catch my attention. The Phantom Light formed in October 2009. Sky Lanterns starts with a layer of dreamy synths and echoey floating guitars. Topped with great vocals, an excellent touch of reverb and a continuing build of energy makes this a rather emotional track.
The band are set to record a full length EP which should be out sometime next year. I wish them all the success.
