Ghostpoet | Live: Clwb Ifor Bach Review

Breton. Been doing the rounds on numerous music blogs for quite some time now building on the hype of their excellent singles. I must say I didn’t think I would get to see them live so it was great to learn they would be heading to Wales.
In true form with their dark and moody baselines Breton delivered an intimate performance filled with their unique creativity and atmospheric charm. Understandably being a new band they still have a big journey ahead but judging from this one show it is clear to see the fresh faced young talent that is Breton are sure to go a long way.

Now I’m sure the headline act ‘Ghostpoet’ needs no introductions. A truly great performance. Unfortunately I missed him the first time he came to Cardiff so it was really nice to finally have the opportunity to see for myself how great he was live. Ghostpoet’ unique style and take on spoken poetry and rap really charmed the audience. Not only was the band super tight but Ghostpoet was truly appreciative to the crowd which is always nice to see. A really nice guy.
