SIREN | Here Today

Where to even begin. SIREN is Stefan Evan Niedermeyer. A 22-year-old half-German half-Australian ex pro-skater turned alt-indie-pop singer/songwriter. Raised in Singapore and now residing in London it's safe to say Stefan's well travelled and this really shines in his music. Released earlier this year Buckets of Blood is a true showcase to the talent SIREN beholds. Upbeat melodies accompanied by his carefree attitude to some pretty heartfelt lyrics make for a beautiful pairing. Undeniably catchy.

SIREN's debut single came backed with another charmer of a track featuring vocals by none other than Lucy Rose. Delicately summery The Surrender is a fine example of his musical craftsmanship. Joyous and invigorating SIREN's use of instrumentation makes for a real heartwarming record oozing with charismatic charm. Check out the accompanying video below, never have I wished I could skateboard as much as I do now.

Recently returning with his new single Here Today released via Loose Lips Records on November 12th Stefan once again proves how effortlessly cool his music making abilities are. Rising and falling throughout the instrumentation progresses through a variety of musical paths creating an irresistible blend of beauty and sophistication. Add to the mix Stefan's breezy vocals and a buoyant vibe throughout and you have a near to perfect song. Check out the video below. A bewitching display of top class cinematography. Be sure to keep a look out for the debut album dropping sometime in 2013. We'll keep you posted.
