Talos | Tethered Bones (Official Video)

As if from nowhere 26 year old Irish producer Talos stunned with his debut single Tethered Bones racking up more than 140, 000 Soundcloud hits in under 3 weeks. Now he's back with an official video to compliment the single's raw and touching appeal as the clip opens with a monochrome shot of a young woman's feet covered in blood. The often dark and chilling scenes form a compelling cinema-esque feel documenting the tense surroundings often occurring behind closed doors when a controlling relationship breaks down.

Brendan Canty (the film's director) goes on to say “From the start, Talos and ourselves had a strong idea about a music-meets-cinema collaboration. I loved the challenge of taking what Eoin wrote and re-interpreting it - the lyrics I latched onto were around this idea of someone being so isolated and alone but at the same time being so smothered and attached to someone. It reminded me of stories I had read about Stockholm syndrome - the unusual relationships and bonds victims develop with their kidnappers.”

Written, directed, and edited by Brendan Canty and Conal Thomson of Feel Good Lost.
