Paper Boats | Holidays

As spring finally ticks over to summer we can all turn our thoughts to the warmer weather ahead and what fun it may bring. Unfortunately I've already got a bad case of sunburn (and it's only April) and have the joys of hay fever to look forward to but I'm sure for many the focus on these warmer days are about all that pulls them through the winter months. When I'm not complaining though it does have some perks. The beer gardens, the beach parties, the 'not having to take your rain coat out' weather, and most importantly, music like this. Serving to be the perfect soundtrack to your summer days UK five piece Paper Boats premiere their new single Holidays and what a scorcher it is. Filled with tropical candescent melodies the Synth-Pop quintet manage to capture the true essence of our holiday season as they blend a concoction of 80's Pop vibes and dreamy laid back vocals to gorgeous effect. Frontman Grant Williams goes on to explain “Holidays is all about taking time out to escape. It’s really just a simple pop song that’s a reminder to myself and anyone who cares that it’s alright to be lazy now and again.” and who are we to argue with that.

Take yourself out of your hectic lifestyle for 3 glorious minutes and indulge above.
