Fickle Friends | For You

Who gave me this cold?! Whoooo. As if Monday's weren't bad enough I now have a rather (un)healthy dose of mucus and a tasteful side helping of migraine to go with it. So far I've pinned it down to the guy in the bank sniffling behind me or the girl on the train asking her friend to pass her the Strepsils. Ugh. I guess it's a good job Fickle Friends are back with a brand new single to ease my rage.....and breathe (although not quite possible right now *cries*). A random discovery back in January '14, the Brighton based quintet have had quite the year topping Hype Machine charts and the like with both previous outings, Play and their debut single Swim. It's no doubt 'For You' will be having a similar effect as they continue to blend their now signature crystal coated synth workings with Natti Shiner's floated vocals. Throw in some funky ass basslines and 80's tinged percussion and you're on to a sure fire killer. Described by Natti as "...another offering from Fickle Friends to add to that feel-good playlist, For You is about realising a relationship isn't ever going to go anywhere, despite how sad it feels & how much you really want it to work". "The festival fans have been overwhelming this year so we all want to put more out there as a thank you. We’re going to be doing Fickle Fridays later this month where we put out something new every Friday for four weeks". Bring it on I say!

'For You' will be available via Crazy Heart Records (North America: 23rd September) & Killing Moon (Rest of the world: 15th September). iTunes link here.
