As far as demo's go, Lucy Mason's latest effort All You Want is almost certainly up there with the best. Cloaked in a velveteen haze, Mason's silk smooth vocals slice through its experimental synth work with the utmost of force. Much like the ice cold wind that's currently spiralling its way through our towns and cities, All You Want brings a refreshing breath of air awakening you from the normality that usually sets in around this time of the year. "It's about a moment in time where I became determined" explains Mason "this song gives me confidence, gives me power. I wanted to play with a darker sound, I wanted the music to reflect my emotion and satisfaction, something with a bite and I feel this is the true expression of who I am currently as an artist."

With Lucy Mason currently putting the finishing touches to her debut EP I'm sure we have plenty more to look forward to. In the meantime you can stream her latest demo All You Want above.
