Having already played, produced and wrote with Bipolar Sunshine over the last few years, Jazz Purple makes his very welcomed solo debut with Do You. And what an entrance it is. With a sullen intro of murky synth pads and heavily edited vocals comes a pulsating soulful masterpiece as it breaks in to its opening verse with the utmost of force. This definitely ain't your typical cut-and-dried electronic work of art though, and that's the beauty of it as the Manchester based artist effortlessly demonstrates his skills over its ever changing backdrop of futuristic sounds.
