LA PRIEST | Oino

It was only last month I was sat in the car listening to Late Of The Pier wondering if they'd ever return. Their debut 'Fantasy Black Channel' was a record that more than defined modern day music and one that still hits me with those nostalgic feelings of when the word Indie actually meant something. Whilst it looks like that return may never materialise, the good news for us fans is that former member Sam Dust has finally broke silence with his new project LA PRIEST. Having already used the moniker for a 12" release on Erol Alkan's Phantasy label in 2007, Oino is the first new music of his to emerge since and marks a very welcomed return. Taking experimental to a whole new level of indulgence, have a listen above as the track weaves its way through skittering synths and stabbing jazzed-up melodies all the while Dust's soulful croon ties everything in nicely.

Oino will be available March 30th released through Domino Records.
