Swim Deep - Grand Affection

Marking a bold return at the start of this year with their 90's influenced To My Brother, Birmingham's Swim Deep are back with another taster of their forthcoming second LP in the form of Grand Affection. "We wanted to show a little bit more of our new album Mothers. We had been listening to Temporary Secretary off McCartney II and Kraftwerk for days which is where the riffs came from. If there's a song that lyrically captures the broader themes of Mothers its probably this one", explains vocalist Austin Williams. Not a million miles away from their wistful debut but with a new direction distinctly carving out its path on a hotbed of arpeggiated synths and jittering percussion, a new psychedelic adventure awaits them on the horizon. Jump right in to it below.

Grand Affection is taken from new album, 'Mothers', released 18th September through Chess Club / RCA.
