Almost a year to the date since their return, Germany's Xul Zolar are back with their brand new single Tides. Making it quite the common feature to keep us fans on edge awaiting their next venture, the trio most certainly make up for their time away with this resplendent offering. Forming friendships over a similar love for The Smiths and Talking Heads the band's darkening tones draws influence from a similar era once more as their shimmering percussion drifts in and out of conscious amongst its broody vocals and dazzling key-work.
