Three years since I first featured Catfish And The Bottlemen, their success has been nothing short of inspiring. Catching them play to a packed out room at Cardiff's Swn Festival on the cusp of their breakthrough, there was little preparing anyone could've done for the whirlwind career success that followed as the band took to touring the world, their singles and videos racking up millions of plays along the way. After a short time away they return with their brand new single Soundcheck. Written by Van McCann and produced by Dave Sardy the track serves as the very first taste of what's to look forward to in their much anticipated second album, due for release later this year. “I feel like the last album was the support band, or even the soundcheck and this one’s the headliner,” exclaims Van.
