In all honesty, I really wasn't prepared for a new single from Vancouver Sleep Clinic today. Already in a fragile place, Tim Bettinson's vocals set amongst the track's blistering serenity is more than enough to edge one towards a heightened state of emotion. 3 years after first discovering his music back in 2013, he returns following a lengthy absence with the delicate Lung, a track that reinforces the flawless and crystallised soundscapes he's delivered on previously. A slow burner in comparison to past singles, Lung opens up in to a gorgeous at-peace offering, a track that aches to be played again and again.
