Having first caught my ear playing Cardiff's Dim Swn festival almost two years ago, Island have been on pretty hot rotation ever since. As the band prepare the release of their debut album due out April 6th though Frenchkiss, they unveil a brand new video to single Horizon. Directed by Claes Nordwall, the clip perfectly creates a visual backdrop to their freeflowing sound. "[Horizon] captures a key theme of the album as a whole - the idea of a passenger drifting through different dreams on a journey" the band explain. "We wanted the video to reflect the open soundscape we feel the song creates, so we jumped at the chance to shoot in the vast Swedish countryside. Claes took us back to his snowy hometown for the video, which had an amazing dreamlike feel that really suited the ideas we wanted to convey." Watch below.
