Lulled in to a trance by her infectiously charming vocals, the track's rolling percussion and sultry synth-pad textures mask a story of a relationship's breakdown. Set in the aftermath where you reflect on what's gone by the new single tells a tale of seeing it in a brand new light. "Like i used to' is months after the relationship ends when you’re able to look back for the first time and appreciate your feelings for what they were." Knight explains.
