Taken from his upcoming debut EP, due to be released later this year, newcomer Sam and Sounds has recently unveiled his latest single Cloud 9. Written about his experiences with online trolls, the track wastes no time in firing off its energetic synths and thundering percussion straight out the gate. Through huge pop-sensibilities comes an uplifting, high powered anthem that's brimming with infectious lyrics and danceable melodies. Having perfected his sound through the hard graft of busking across the South East of England, now looks to be the time he takes his career to the next step - and this is about as exciting as a first introduction can be.
