Following on from last month's return single Two Legged Dog (featuring Abigail Morris), BC Camplight has today unveiled the honest and afflicting Where You Taking My Baby?. Through a piano led melody and scintillating guitar sections, the new single marks the album’s emotional midpoint - a turning where Brian begins to accept his past and reclaim power from his abuser. In this striking effort, he directly addresses a man named Michael, offering a reflection on the events that shaped him years ago. Brian shares, “I had spent 30 years being terrified to open that door, and afraid of the price I’d pay once I had. I’ve opened the door. To some extent this album is what was on the other side. I hope it helps me but this album is also for everyone that is having trouble finding their bravery, finding themselves.” Take a listen for yourselves below. The forthcoming album A Sober Conversation is due out June 27 via Bella Union.
