Making their very welcomed return, Manchester's Florentenes follow on from last month's single What it Takes with their energetic recent effort, Miss Understands, the final taster from their highly anticipated second EP, HOMEGROWN, due Friday 16th May 2025. Wasting no time with its explosive intro the track's high octane guitars and infectious melodies showcase another brilliant offering for what lays ahead. Speaking on the single, the band explained that “the song was written when Will was just 17, sitting in his room trying to come up with something upbeat. It came together in about an hour and flowed pretty naturally. He’s said it was inspired by Bob Dylan, and he wanted to blend in some of the best elements from a few of the band’s other songs. The lyrics came together through a mix of spontaneous ideas and creative instinct” Take a listen for yourselves below.
