After making waves with last month’s new single Onto A Winner, Isle of Wight newcomer ugly ozo is back with madonna - a gritty, melody-rich pop gem. Detailing her latest effort, ugly ozo revealed: "madonna’ is written from the perspective of an older sister looking out for her younger sibling, and is both deeply personal and widely resonant. It’s a grunge-soaked ode to sisterhood, vulnerability, and the bittersweet feeling of watching someone you love grow into themselves, with an overbearing sense of aching protectiveness".
