Today sees singer-songwriter Alexander Wolfe make a brilliant return with “Talk”, sharing his first new release in over four years. Centred on a finger-picked guitar line, the track builds with a rousing energy before rising into soaring vocals and bold pop sensibilities that confront a deep, meaningful subject matter. “Talk is a song I wrote in response to the statistic that young men are more likely to die from suicide than anything else,” Wolfe shares. “How am I meant to accept the fact that the thing most likely to kill me in this world is me? The song is a call to action for lads to talk about their shit. To each other, to therapists, to the old lady on the bus, whoever it is, just talk. We have to break the shame. We need to stop seeing vulnerability as weakness.” Take a listen to the striking new single below.
