It's always a great joy to see band's still delivering fresh new music, over a decade since I first discovered them. Brighton's Fickle Friends have recently announced their eponymous third studio album, due out 7th November via their own label, Palmeira Music. Their latest effort Joe follows a line of successful singles, ‘Feral’, ‘Swoon’, ‘Dream’, ‘Happier’ and most recently, UP! and showcases the fun, playful energy they're capable of as catchy melodies and infectious vocal hooks take hold. ‘Joe’ captures the thrills (and the meltdowns) of new love. That rush when everything feels electric, but your brain won’t stop whispering, ‘it’s too good to be true’.” vocalist Natassja Shiner declares. “It’s messy, irrational…bringing out the unhinged side in even the most measured people.
