Following on from last year's single tied, thistle. have today shared their first new music of 2026 with the brilliant pieces. Taken from the band's forthcoming second EP entitled ‘backflip’, set for release May 29th via REX RECS, the track picks up where they left off with towering percussive swells and grungy guitar driven melodies. Detailing the origins of ‘pieces’, the three-piece explained: “The song is about changing yourself to fit other people's expectations for so long that you’re not really sure who you are anymore.” Take a listen below.
