Following on from last month's single Baby You’re A Winner, Bristol’s Grandmas House have today shared the latest single from their long-awaited debut album, of the same name, ahead of its release on August 21st release via Brace Yourself Records. Here, ‘The Table’ sees the band charge ahead with gritty vocals and waves of swirling guitars as increasingly commanding vocal harmonies take the lead. Speaking about the single, the band share: “‘The Table’ is the first song we wrote for the album. It was written in part about a relationship that is falling apart and in part about our experiences as women in the music industry. We’ve been playing it live for a while now but it’s one that’s evolved and changed quite a bit over time. We’ve been lucky enough to be able to tour and play live in so many amazing places over the last few years, and it’s nice to think that this song has been shaped a little by all of those experiences.” Listen below.
