Checking my inbox can sometimes prove to be problematic. The sun's out, the temperature's in double figures and I've just got back from the gym all sweaty. Yet for some reason the last thing on my mind is to take a shower when I have this glorious treat to share. Having eagerly anticipated the stream of their new single since posting an introduction piece on the Nottinghamshire band last month the recent RCA Victor signees return with Spark on 20th April 2014 and what a return it is. Bursting in to life with aspirant guitars and thunderous percussion their latest effort glows with the most radiant of transcendental lights as it reaches its climatic peaks before Joe Keogh's vocal cries bring us back down to earth. Gorgeous in every sense I'm expecting big things from these guys. Take a listen above. I'm off for that much needed shower!

Spark will be taken from Amber Run's forthcoming debut album which is currently being produced by Mike Crossey (Arctic Monkeys, Two Door Cinema Club, Foals, Jake Bugg), due for release later this year.
