It must be said, Marika's band are highly stern-faced to carry on performing so well amongst her cannibalistic transformation. I for one know I'd be straight out the door if I ever found myself in that situation. Nevertheless its lo-fi charm is beautifully captured as she slowly becomes a creature of the night before feasting on Laura Marling in gory-fied detail. Take a watch of the official video for Animal Fear above, taken from the forthcoming debut album 'We Slept At Last' set for release 16th February 2015 through Dirty Hit Records. Fans purchasing the physical editions will be rewarded with an in-depth art booklet containing a series of poetic and powerful images by Californian-born photographer Glen Erler, inspired by and resonating with the same dark narrative as 'We Slept At Last'.

To coincide with the release Marika will be exhibiting the full collection of photos in Camden’s Cob Gallery on 18th February alongside performing the record in full with her band.
