Dive In - Eighteen

Where many fall short writing engaging pop music of this calibre, Glastonbury-residing trio Dive In most certainly excel. Following on from their debut single Let Go, the three-piece return on fine form with the first taste of their forthcoming debut EP, 'Eighteen'. Sharing a stream to its title track today, the band showcase a firm understand of where they want to be. Stepping up their production, this latest effort most certainly ain't for the faint-hearted. With its pulsating basslines and penetrating synths, big enough to give Prides a run for their money, their infectious melodies and high strung choruses provide a pristine backdrop to its glistening pop nuances. "Eighteen was born from a loop pedal jam in our old residence" explains frontman Guttridge, "It was inspired by another day of watching the village's festival fences go up.  It was the product of excitement and the, what some may call delusional idea that we could one day amount to the successes of the bands/aritsts that descend upon our village each year."

Take a listen above for yourselves. The band's debut EP will be available May 25th via Vagrant.

"Eighteen" Tracklist:
1. Into The Blue 2. Eighteen 3. Promise 4. Can't Hold Me Down 5. Lost (In The Blue)

The band will play The Lexington for The Line Of Best Fit on Aug 5, 2015. Tickets are priced at £6.00 and available here. (Ages +18)
