I should probably start paying more attention to music festival posters. A Blaze of Feather has been a name springing up on numerous line ups over recent months yet I've always had a tenancy to overlook these things. With the rumour mill in full swing it turns out the mysterious outfit is headed up by musicians Mickey Smith, India Bourne, Nat Wason, Rich Thomas, Kyle Keegan and last but by no means least Ben Howard. Having all toured out on the road with Howard over the years the band seek to offer up something truly special as luscious harmonies melt amongst its atmospheric sounds. Look out for a full length EP in the coming months.
