Scientists of Sound: Heir - After Forever

A lifetime in blog years behind everybody else, I've finally got around to listening to Heir's latest (now month old) new single After Forever. Having picked up support form the likes of BBC Music, the Leeds-based outfit look set on creating quite the impact with their buoyant indie-pop nuances. Glazed in 80's nostalgia the band's funkiest effort yet comes packed with sun-kissed vocals, infectious guitars and a vibrancy like no other. "It’s an absolute privilege to be in a position where we can release music that means so much to us.", says Sam Luca (keys). "Looking at it now we have all sacrificed a lot to be in this together. The project is so collaborative and intense and challenging but we wouldn’t want it any other way. It keeps it magical knowing that the music only breathes with the life that we want it to when everybody is in on it." Take a listen for yourselves below.
