Galway via London based four-piece The Clockworks returned ahead of the weekend with their brilliant new single Best Days, released through V2 Records. After their debut album Exit Strategy in 2023 and their self-titled EP The Clockworks in 2022, the band return with a bigger sound delivering a soaring anthem, filled with infectious hooks and electrifying guitar solos. Speaking about ‘Best Days’, the band says; “This song was a labour of love that almost didn’t make it. Before it was fully written we knew how the song would start, how we wanted it to feel, and where it would sit in the context of our new music, but it took a while to get the lyrics and vocal melody right. The lyrics describe a harmful relationship and the things you tell yourself to not let that relationship go.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
