Drawing influence from Deep Purple, Zeppelin, and Sabbath, Ty Freeman carves out his own sound with a modern edge as the Merseyside-born returns with the hard-rocking, blues-driven One Way Love. Recorded live at Kempston Street Studios in Liverpool with an all-star UK lineup, the track features Ian Skelly and Paul Duffy of The Coral (on drums and bass respectively), plus exceptional input from producer Chris Taylor (Blossoms, Miles Kane, The Lathums). Speaking about the track, Freeman goes on to say: “One Way Love is a gritty, blues-driven track soaked in frustration and heartache, the sound of giving everything to someone who won’t meet you halfway. I was inspired by The Black Keys, early Kings of Leon, Lenny Kravitz - I wanted 70s inspired Rock’n’Roll with a modern edge”. Take a listen for yourselves below.
