Sundara Karma | Loveblood

If your lacklustre day's in need of a vital boost, I highly suggest diving head first in to Sundara Karma's new single Loveblood. Premiered via Huw Stephens last night on BBC Radio One, the band's latest effort takes no prisoners with its high strung guitars and jubilant percussion all culminating in to a gorgeous crescendo of tropically-infused pop - something that's sure to get you all hot and bothered. Having quickly made a name for themselves in their hometown of Reading, the Berkshire quartet have finally started to creep outwards and upwards as their sun-doused guitar driven sounds become ever warmly received. With plenty more lofty, illuminating melodies up their sleeves it looks likely we'll be hearing a lot more of them in the coming months as they close in on the release of their debut EP ‘EPI' due 23 February. "It's a collection of all the guises we have taken  so far" explains vocalist Oscar Lulu. "We originally wanted to make a concept EP with all sorts of apocalyptic sound effects, but for some reason or another it came out like this. I couldn't really tell you what it is or what it's about as my idea of it changes with each listen, but it's mainly a coming of age record for kids". Take a listen to Loveblood streaming above.
