BE GOOD - God of Nowhere (Official Video)

BE GOOD - God of Nowhere (Official Video)

Oxford-based four-piece BE GOOD returned over the Easter weekend with a video to their very own sickly sweet pop jam, God of Nowhere. Self-described as 'awkward pop music for midnight walks and dancing in the nude' is about as good of summaries as it's ever gonna get. The band sure know their way around a smooth melody or two and their latest effort shows it in abundance with warm hazy hooks and twanging guitar lines. "It's about that moment in a relationship after the initial excitement when you realise that the other person is a fallible, imperfect human just like you are" explains singer Ash Cooke. "It can be terrifying, but it’s also really reassuring. It reminded me of when I stopped believing in god when I was 13 years old. I was at a very Christian school and I was frightened of what it meant, but ultimately it was very liberating. I think we should be less scared to let go of the things we idolise". God of Nowhere is the title track taken from the band's forthcoming new EP. Listen for yourself above with their 70's-inspired, and incredibly pleasing Theo Watkins directed horror-esque flick streaming below.
