Following up September's Victim release, Fiona-Lee has returned this week with the powerful new effort, Imposter. Slow burning towards its gripping guitar finale, the track further showcases her songwriting prowess as towering pop sensibilities take hold. Detailing the origins of her latest release, Fiona-Lee explained: “This song shares my experience with imposter syndrome - the constant battle against intense self-doubt. It’s about letting go of the facade and confronting the inner struggle that holds you back. To me, imposter syndrome feels like a shadow that follows me everywhere, crushing any sense of self-belief or hope. I wrote ‘Imposter’ during a brief moment of freedom from that weight, a time when I could finally see things clearly and express myself authentically. I think this song perfectly captures my experience of the fleeting journey between struggle and release.” Take a listen for yourselves below.
