With weekend tickets flying out, Cardiff will soon be bathed in the inaugural new music festival delights that Swn has to offer. A final wave of acts was recently announced and the now impressive line-up stands proud in all of its behemoth beauty, looking set to make 2019 one of its best yet. So with little persuasion needed, I've spent the past few days rummaging through the list of many, many acts, most of whom are unknown to me, and I've complied a playlist of my 20 must see's - a task in itself with so much on offer, it doesn't even dent the sides. Take a listen for yourselves below and prepare for the days ahead. 



The festival will take place on the 18th, 19th and 20th October 2019. Second release Weekend Tickets are priced at £70 with Friday Tickets £27.50 (Final Release), Saturday £30 (Final Release) and Sunday £25 (Final Release). For more information and to get your tickets, head to swnfest.com.

Following its huge success in '13 Green Man Festival will once again be bringing its championing showcase of the best in new and undiscovered talent to the Welsh countryside. With last years stage headed up by some fantastic names such as Radstewart, R Seiliog and Haiku Salut 2014 looks set to be just as hot as this year's competition is finally unveiled. To be in with a chance of winning all you have to do is submit a YouTube, Vimeo or Soundcloud link to the Green Man Rising site (http://www.greenman.net/rising). If you're picked as the winner you could be opening the Mountain Stage on Friday 15th August with five runner-up prizes of performing on the Green Man Rising Stage during the festival. In addition the festival's also announced it's return of the fantastic Einstein's Garden area featuring tonnes of scientific hands on fun. With 100's of performances and workshops taking place across the weekend there really is something for everyone as your curiosity piques and you let lose on your creative inhibitions. From surgeon Professor Roger Kneebone and puppeteer Rachel Warr's behind the scenes glimpse in 'The Secret World of Surgery' to Shed Science's Sally le Page uncovering the Secrets of Sex; You can see the full Einstein's Garden line-up here.

As the festival market continues to grow in the UK with more events than one could ever possibly attend choosing wisely is becoming ever harder. Thankfully the next wave of acts announced to play Latitude Festival do more than enough to make the decision easier.

Set to close the Sunday will be the ever impressive Black Keys making their UK festival headline debut. Joining them will be Editors, James, Crystal Fighters, Kelis, Mogwai, Lykke Li, The Afghan Wings and SOHN to name but a few.

Day tickets are now available for purchase. Latitude has launched a £50 deposit scheme to help with payment meaning fans can secure a ticket for this year's festival by putting down £50 now and paying the balance over three months at £46.83 each time (for an adult ticket which includes the booking fee).
