Polly Money - TWNTYS
Clinging on to every last moment in my 20's as 30 gets nearer by the second, I know all too well of the trials and tribulations you go through at that pivotal moment being thrown head-first in to 'adulthood'. There's no training manual or YouTube tutorial in sight here. It's a difficult transitioning period but one that can also be one of the most invigorating times of your life. New sensation Polly Money tries to make heads and tails of the situation with her new single TWNTYS, a track that's wrapped up in sensational pop sensibilities and seamless deliverance. "Twntys is a song about navigating through the time in your life where everything seems to come to head," explains Polly, "Not just for you but for your friends as well. You’re fresh out of school, fresh out of another shitty breakup and all those ‘plans you made of concrete don’t seem so steady’. Where time is no longer infinite and everyone's getting on with their lives while you feel like you’re wasting yours. It’s no longer the beginner's mind but the past hurts that start to shape the way you now approach relationships and life situations. It’s not all bad though cause there’s always another someone to love and the hope that you’ll never be the only one feeling the way you do. My twenty’s were always something I couldn’t wait for but when they arrived I realized things didn’t suddenly become clear but actually bought a whole load of grey areas that took me time to figure out. This song is for my friends and I who continue to get through it together with another drink and another late-night conversation". Listen for yourselves below.

Haux - Seaside
Whenever I let my inbox go a little overboard from lack of posting, the thought to select all and delete becomes all the more tempting. Artists like Haux make it a worthwhile excavation though and remind me, even amongst the 99% of below par songs I'm sent, it really is worth going through them all. With my week off to a more stressful start than normal Seaside's softly perpetuating synths offer a soothing comfort amongst the tracks emotive sways. Take a listen to Woodson Black's ethereal offering for yourselves below.

Wyldest - Stalking Moon
Whilst 2015 wasn't exactly a thrilling year for me in terms of new music, there was a small handful of artists continually atop of their game, building from their foundations up striding ever towards supremacy. What Zoe Mead, Holly Mullineaux and Jack Gooderham have achieved over the recent months has been this to a tee as each release showcases a lasting advancement in sound, their latest effort no different. From its airy vocals and expansive soundscapes the track's rising atmosphere through indulgent guitar notes and soaring melodies brings with it huge promise for the year ahead. "I wrote this song on acoustic guitar in 2014 and it was lonely and mellow but it isn’t a song about being lonely at all" explains Mead. "It’s about people. Almost always there’s something interesting or dark lurking underneath every persona. It’s about hiding secrets and hunting for secrets in others." Lose yourself in its light-speed shifting sounds below.
Stalking Moon is the second single to be taken fromt he band's debut EP, 'Dark Matter' due March 2016 through Hand In Hive.

EAT - Byker Drone
It's no real secret I've been yearning for a new guitar act for months now. Whilst that pool seems to have long dried up with the unfathomable amount of bland synth-pop acts I trawl through daily, new kids on the block EAT look ready to burst the dam and re-flood that avenue with their stunning debut Byker Drone. Whilst not much is known about them as yet, one thing's for certain, their hazy vocals and reverberated sound brings a much needed breath of fresh air to my airwaves. Fuzzy, warm dream-like guitar pop at its very best. Take a listen below.

Satchmode - Afterglow
Having been a keen playlist favourite for many months Satchmode have moulded and shaped their sound in to a wondrous entity. Returning today with Afterglow, the La-based duo showcase an inspiring maturity in their production as softly glazed vocals effortlessly grace the track's floating melodies and hazy approach to its summertime charm. With some subtle layering setting off sparks within its pulsating synth work, Afterglow forms a magical part of the pair's forthcoming second EP. Take a listen below for yourselves.

Emile Bernard | City Of
Every so often, an artist of real brightness shines from the treasure trove of acts we're so lucky to have at our fingertips. With so much music readily available standing out from the crowd often means many fall short just of the mark in getting the recognition they so rightfully deserve. Thankfully this site gives me the opportunity in helping spread the word on acts I believe wholeheartedly make the cut, Emile Bernard, the stage name of London-based songwriter Paolo Fornasari being one of them. His latest single City Of displays the vastly dynamic talents he possesses as cascading percussion lapse over ambitious vocals and glistening guitars. Already on my 10th play in a row it's the kind of track that has a timeless beauty, one of which gets richer with time - each consecutive play unearthing further subtleties. If you've looking for a little escapism in life, indulge yourself in 'City Of' above.

Kid Wave | Gloom
With it being Monday, and Kid Wave entitling their latest single 'Gloom', you'd expect this to be a pretty foreboding post. Thankfully it's not to be the case as the London-based band elicit the slicked back vibes of summer evening's spent laid upon golden sands - their jangly, fuzzy guitars setting off sparks in Lea Emmery's glazed vocals. Have a watch of the Raquel Aly directed clip above. Gloom will be released through Heavenly Recordings on Monday 24th November 2014. The band will be support TOY at The Garage, London on Thursday 30 October.

Brett | Lovers
Sometimes, when everything gets all too much, you've just got to take a back seat and let the world float on by (including your stresses). Brett soundtrack's this in perfect harmony with new track Lovers featuring the delightful guest voval talents of Yumi Zouma. Through crystalline synths and candy-flossed melodies Lovers channels a dreamy heaven-like charm that does more than enough to ease your tired mind with its invigorating and replenished soulfulness awashing over you. With the single described as "the story of running towards new horizons with the one you love" who can but argue with the its aspirant drive. Blessa | Unfurl
Consistently refining their heavenly sound over time, Blessa have gone from the relatively unknown to becoming a band I'd have no qualms posting about without listening to beforehand in the confidence they've installed. Returning with news of their debut EP 'Love Is An Evol Word' on 23rd June through their own label Carmel Records in conjunction with Generator the Sheffield five piece once more demonstrate their vast and expansive skills. With Olivia Neller's blissful vocals taking the forefront by storm the track builds in to a swirling & lofty masterpiece as skippy percussion and shoegazey guitars play catch up. Take a listen above.

Vancouver Sleep Clinic | Flaws
From the opening few notes of his debut track Vapour I instantly knew Vancouver Sleep Clinic was going to be something truly incredible. Each time a track hits the surface and floats in to the blogosphere this only becomes more and more reinforced as Tim Bettinson returns once more with Flaws, taken from his forthcoming debut EP entitled 'Winter'. Through a refined use of space and crystallised soundscapes Bettinson manages to once more stop time in its path as his anguished falsetto cries rain down over skippy percussion and ambient synths. This is more than just music though. This is art in its purest form. Having already supported the likes of Daughter and London Grammar the continued rise for Vancouver Sleep Clinic has been nothing short of mesmeric with the band forming little under 12 months ago. Especially so when Bettinson recalls writing recent track Collapse in the back of his maths book a few months previous.
Have a listen to Flaws above. You can Pre-Order the EP here and recieve Collapse as an instant download.

Tiger Forest Cat | New York, New York
God bless you Sweden for producing such blissfully soothing music forever and always. Tiger Forest Cat the moniker of Filip Sundberg is their latest export as he sets sail on the first single from his up and coming album 'Underdogism'. Through simple guitar strumming, plinky piano keys and some much loved Nordic charm comes a gently swaying masterpiece. Be sure to hit play above if you long to be transported to a sunny Monaco, crusing with the roof down and coastline in sight. Dreamy.

Mt. Wolf | Midnight Shallows
It's been a while since we've had any new Mt. Wolf to share but it looks like they've been hard at work on new material as they return with the enigmatic new single Midnight Shallows. With their blissful intensity reaching new heights through ghostly vocals and swirling synths, in a blanket of ethereal beauty, crisp like a cold December's morning, their icy cold grasp on reality hits you with an almighty force. Having already wowed me on their tour last year and becoming strong contenders for my favourite act of the weekend at the recent Green Man Festival I can't wait to hear what else the London foursome conjure up.
Midnight Shallows will be released on 4 November via Third Rock Recordings.

Keep Shelly in Athens | Flyway
After winning our hearts with Recollection back in July Keep Shelly in Athens return with another spellbinding single taken from the brand new album At Home. Keeping in line with their previous work Flyway offers a distinct and mind broadening insight in to the duo's ethos. As pure, heaven-like synths swell and build around a very danceable break Sarah P's vocals become as prominent as ever. Dreamy in every sense of the word, the single takes layered texturing to a whole new level as its constant and subtle evolving nature keeps you hooked until the very last note. Check it out above.

Stefan Noons | Signals
I think what I love most about the advancement in technology over the years is that just about anyone can make music nowadays. There's no longer a need for big fancy studios or highly expensive equipment. Granted not all of it is great but when it is it becomes so easily accessible allowing many more musicians to get their music heard.
Edinburgh artist Stefan Noons incorporates just this on his self titled solo project. The dizzying emotions felt throughout his latest track Signals and its predecessor Riverine hit you with an overwhelming display of congruity. As warm synths melt in to gospel-esque vocals, jittering through the intertwining instrumentation, you get a strong sense of embracement. In all of it's atmospheric beauty it becomes easy to get lost as swells of synths awash over you, yet done in such a way you don't feel drowned. More awake. Alive. And quite frankly refreshed. I really can't wait to hear what he comes up with next.

SOLO | Sympathy
In an almost Spanish like performance style SOLO manages to capture such dreamy infusions through his delectably plucked guitars layered in a breezy, care-free manner. Filled with joy, Sympathy is a brilliant introduction to those who are not yet familiar with the 19 year old's previous work. Beautifully moving through its emotional depths with raw undiluted lyrics and fast paced drum machines this latest single will sure act as a giant stepping stone for SOLO's career. You can download it for free above.
It's artists like this that make trawling through hundreds of singles and writing a music blog all worthwhile.
